Sometimes They Say Yes

When you submit your entry to a juried show or competition, the worst they can say is no. But they also yes. Congratulations to the following students who have been accepted to various shows and publications this month:

Brian Wittmuss is a finalist in the Photographers Forum 30th Annual Student Photography Contest. His image "Agglomerative Narrative" will be published in the book Best of College Photograph 2010 in June.

Katie Massey and Megan Snider have been accepted as 2 of only 30 artists nationwide to be published on Projekt30.com's April exhibition. They each have a series of several images on the website, so please check it out. Katie's work can be found on the 4th row, 1st column and Megan's work is found on the 5th row, 3rd column. Last, but not least, Natalie Hoffman's photograph Temporary Shapes has been accepted for The 25th Tallahassee International juried exhibition to be held at the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts. The exhibition runs from August 23 to September 26, 2010. If you happen to be in Tallahassee then, please stop by.

Congratulations to everyone, including those of you who have submitted entries for shows that did not get accepted. You will never win if you don't try...
